I wanted to share a glimpse into my Sunday meal prepping  session. I eat 5 meals a day. Breakfast, a snack, lunch, a snack, then dinner. Having my meals prepared for the week and ready to go is a lifesaver. I do spend hours in the kitchen on Sunday, but come Monday I’m set and not panicked because I don’t know what I’m going to eat for the day.  My husband and I are both O.K. with eating the same meals throughout the week, so that also helps with the meal prepping. Since this was my second 5K, I took this opportunity to beat my first 5K time and do it sub 30 and I did, 29.02. I was so proud of myself. With it being so cold and having 29K people around you, your adrenalin is pumping and I ended up running my first mile in 8.40 minutes. What?! That didn’t last and I think it showed in my face. I need to learn how to breath out my nose so I can close my mouth haha

I ran the Mermaid Series Race in November and I loved it. What energy this race had and the breath taking views of the Marina, the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay and even the surprise visit by some dolphins as we ran to and from the Fort. Seeing the dolphins made me so happy and gave me the boost I needed to get moving! I did much better with my photos during this race. This was the first 5K I ever did. It was a trail run at Mt. Hamilton in San Jose and of course Tone It Up proud, had this shirt made for the race My Sister and Brother in Law surprised me and  drove 1 1/2 hours to support me Getting my metal and my husband their to support me My stats for my first race.
